STRING FURNITURE SHELVING SYSTEMS

The creative shelving units from String Furniture designed by Swedish architect Nils Strinning in 1949 are still modern and popular today. The reasons are simple: They fit in everywhere with their lightweight but stable structure and are available in different colours and depths. The framing gives String its special character: it looks like a ladder climbing up a wall.

The popularity of String is also demonstrated by dozens of pictures uploaded by String lovers to the inspiring “My string”-site, where the photo of the most fun and creative shelf combination will quarterly win a String pocket shelf.
