The emerging British fashion label This Is The Uniform is coming up with a quirky and fresh approach – layers of silk organza, its transparency exposing cashmere undergarments… red bandanas, pink frills… my eyes seem to pop out! The current collection explores ideas of urban etiquette and properness, drawing upon codes and systems of dress from a victorian era, and juxtaposing them with a modern stereotype.
