To be honest, often when I’m sitting in front of my computer late at night, tired after my dayjob, I ask myself “Why the hell am I doing this?”. But then, like today, I discover something and in an instant I realize that this is one of those moments of bliss, moments that make blogging worth it. What I’m talking about is the first collection of Protagonist, a collection of refined essentials designed by Kate Wendelborn, that makes its debut on The Line, an exciting New York based concept and e-commerce site. The Line is the latest endeavour from fashion stylists Morgan Wendelborn and Vanessa Traina, with their vision to sell a quintessential range of carefully selected goods from emerging names across fashion, home and beauty (like Reed Krakoff, Vince, Christophe Lemaire or Rodin). And all those goods also come together in the intimate context of an"off-line home": The Apartment – a boutique that will be the starting point for discussions, workshops, screenings, dinners and other events.
