Danish brand Gubi is coming up with their Winter 18/19 novelties and I’m in awe. My favourite is the Pacha Lounge Chair, it looks so comfy and chubby – I think I could spend days in it…
The Pacha Lounge Chair
The Pacha Chair was designed by French designer Pierre Paulin originally 1975. Paulin gave the rounded forms of the Pacha Chair real elegance by finding the perfect proportions, raising it lightly on its base and tracing in the foam and upholstery with stitching lines inclined inwards and pioneered a modern way of living and sitting on the floor, by getting rid of chair legs. The base is now available in pearl gold and black matt and the chair is available in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers.
Adnet Wall Mirror Circular in Alcantara
The timeless Adnet Circulaire Mirror was designed by Jacques Adnet in 1946 and comes now with a contemporary Alcantara frame. It adds a sculptural value and outstanding expression to any hallway, bathroom or living room. The remarkable and extremely durable Alcantara fabric has a tactile feel and aesthetic qualities. Available now in Dusty Cedar, Wild Dove and Safari Sand.
Collar Pendant
The Collar Pendant, designed by the German designer Sebastian Herkner, is a series of pendant lights made of mouth-blown glass and crafted in line with old traditional techniques that gives every lamp its unique and iconic look. The lamp looks great as a single feature alone over a table, but by mixing colours and large and small Collar Pendants, it gives possibilities for strong personal and playful installations. Available now in Carbone, Stone Grey, Soft Fog, Taupe and Terracotta.
Gent Dining Chair
Designed by the design duo GamFratesi, the Gent Dining Chair is characterised by the contradiction between Scandinavian elegance and Italian dynamic lines. The new Gent Dining Chair is defined by a distinctive backrest, expressing an almost aggressive masculinity, whilst at the same time being gentle and embracing. Available in a wide variety of upholstery.
