New Perspectives – A couple of days ago I had to chance to visit the Muuto headquarter in Copenhagen to get a first impression of Muuto’s Autum/Winter 2017 collection. I instantly fell in love with their new designs and I’d like to show you my favourites today!
The Outline Sofa in the picture above comes now in a shorter and slimmer version – ideal for smaller apartments in urban areas.
The beautiful Platform Tray by Sam Hecht & Kim Colin in the picture below is a stackable tray with a multitude of uses and has an laminated oak veneer on its inside. It comes in dark red and grey.
The Tip Lamp is a modern interpretation to an architect’s lamp with an adjustable head and arm. Available in black, white, a beautiful olive and copper brown. I like the fact that it offers direct as well as ambient light as the lamp’s adjustable head and arm feature an opal diffuser and dimmer function that effortlessly alters the volume of light.
The new Loft Chair by Thomas Bentzen with its sturdy base and plywood seat fuses the element of functionality, purity and craftmanship into a single object. It comes with either a black, white, dusty rose or dusty green frame in powder coated steel.
I really like this version of the Fiber Barstool with tube base, which gives it a certain masculine touch. But shoud I buy one with or without a back… that’s the question.
