South Yarra Apartment designed by Rosanna Ceravolo

Sorry folks – long time no interior inspo, since now all that happens is on Instagram, but this South Yarra apartment is definitely worth a new interior post. Rosanna Ceravolo is a Melbourne based architect whose multi disciplinary studio focuses on delivering a full and considered design response.

Rosanna Ceravolo gently transformed this 1920s Art Deco object into a contemporary home oozing a sophisticated pied-a-terre vibe. Arches connect the spaces, subtly offering a visual connection to the adjacent function, while the irregular opening hinting at an unexpected detail. The joinery in both the kitchen and bathroom is kept minimal but effective, with the goal to increase amenity, while preserving character.

Soft, creamy-white natural tones create a cosy atmosphere, only interrupted only by a hint of sage green and some wine-red elements.
