I admire the work of Pietro Russo, a Milan based interior and product designer, characterized by his passion in scenery of interior architectural spaces and recovery of traditional crafts. His objects are self-produced and are the result of collaboration with exclusive Italian artisans. The pictures above show the interior he did for Adri & Silvia, his Apollo lamp, the Piuma Table and my favourite of his own designs: the Romboidale Bookshelf which creates a light division between two space ambients. Structure are made of iron painted in black and crosspieces in brushed brass, the shelves are in Walnut canaletto wood veneer.
