theAddresses, launched by a Belgian team, is a new hospitality brand that combines architecture and design with hotel services and curated travel tips. Guest can enjoy all the best the Algarve has to offer while staying in the finest private guest houses. When you book a holiday with theAddresses, you will also be spoilt with a series of special services, as well as a curated guide to the best sites to visit in the region. theAddresses is the result of years of shared passion and many trips to the Algarve by founders Bert and Ludovic, who now want to share all their tips and experiences with like-minded friends and guests. The concierge service will arrange everything: private transport, restaurant reservations, nearby golf courses, relaxing massages, cultural visits, walking or cycling tours, an adventurous boat trip to an uninhabited island.
CASA UM, Estiramamtens, Tavira

Casa Um is the first of the three houses which is ready to receive guests, the two others will be available soon. A modernist take on Portuguese traditions, Casa Um, renovated by Atelier Rua, reimagines the style and details of typical architecture from the Algarve. The result is a soft minimalistic space with a calming interior palette that’s private, contemporary and homely. Set on a former shepherds farm, at Casa Um you’ll find yourself completely encompassed by mature orange trees, beautifully landscaped grounds and panoramic sea views from the stylish and tranquil outdoor pool.
This architectural hideaway is set on two different levels, with the communal areas on the upper level and the newly built bedrooms extending out to the lower level. Stairs from the dining room lead down to the cubistic sleeping quarters (doubles or twins). Each is ensuite (walk-in stone showers, one bath) and has a private patio with hammock, offering guests a feeling of perfect seclusion.
Outside, next to the inner patio, landscaped garden and different terraces, you’ll find a heated swimming pool on top of the rooms, surrounded by comfortable loungers.
CASA DOIS, Olhão

My favourite! This former fish warehouse has been converted into a modern townhouse with a southern city feel. The high ceilinged rooms of the former armazèm give this house an airy, modern but above all, relaxed atmosphere. These features and the surrounding pedestrian zone make it a perfect place for retreat and contemplation while being located in the heart of Algarve’s biggest fishing port; salty and soulful Olhão.
Casa Dois contains 2 stories and 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. All the light slants in from a row of beautifully preserved arches that give access to the patio, a small green oasis enveloped by whitewashed walls, refreshing plunge pool included. From here a staircase leads to the rooftop terrace, where you can gaze over the Ria Formosa and the flat terraced roofs of Olhão.
CASA TRÊS, Vila Real des Santo Antonio, Faro

Near the middle of the historic, pedestrian centre and with a charming marina in the distance, sits Casa Três.
Once a merchant’s house, this stately home has been renovated into an open, spacious property.
Upon entering Casa Tres, you’ll feel welcomed by the airy and bright courtyard, where the old citrus tree and glistening outdoor pool will make you forget you’re in the city centre. Centred around this small shaded oasis are three large bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and lounge area. The multiple roof terraces, saturated by the afternoon sun, are perfect for late-night dinners or early breakfasts.
The ferry to Spain departs 200 meters from the house. Or jump on your bike and ride through the pine forest to a piece of unspoilt coast.
