Magniberg is a Swedish design group with a multilateral approach created out of Sweden. Their passion is to create a brand driven by emotional aesthetics; making the visual imagery, fabrics, products and details speak for its foremost values. Mostly known for their bed linens – in contrasting materials such as sateen, mesh, poplin, lace, washed jersey and silk, with buttons in mother of pearl – they also designed granite-topped tables, pinewood chairs and stools named ‘Pony’ and ‘Horse’, designed by Bengt Thornefors, one of the founders.
I stumbled upon the Horse Armchair on the internet quite a couple of times recently and fell in love with its youthful and straight forward design with a contemporary edge. Horse is made of Swedish pine wood and available in different colours and with sheep skin covers.
