In a part of town unbothered by the glitz and glamour of Cannes a hotel with modern design focus is about to open its doors in June 2022! After setting foot in the Hôtel Bachaumont and the Hôtel National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, La Clé Group got their hands on a seaside building from the 1930s and entrusted it to designer Raphaël Navot and the Faar architecture studio.
The fluid form of the exterior of Hôtel Belle Plage makes an unobtrusive addition to the landscape, with bold hues both inside and outside reflecting the colours of the land, sea and sky. The 50 rooms and 10 private residences, including one penthouse, are cocoon of softness, adorned in deep blue like the sea, along with pale organic sand hues. The place is given to natural materials: natural stone mixes with wood, terrazzo and plaster. The bedside tables and armchairs, carved from solid oak, suggest driftwood washed up on the sand. Door frames are softened like arches to infuse them with an air of science fiction imbued with retro.
The cherry on top is an incredible rooftop restaurant run by the star chef Eyal Shani, where you can indulge in Mediterranean plates with breathtaking views.
Hôtel Belle Plage is also home to the largest spa in Cannes. Stretched over 800m², the treatment rooms open onto lush vegetation.
