Object Blanc – New Print Collection by Atelier Cph

Atelier Cph Object Blanc Print Collection

Atelier Cph is a Copenhagen based multidisciplinary creative studio founded by trend forecasters Sara Ingemann and Mandy Rep in 2012. Inspired by their research trips to France and Finland, their new collection is dedicated to the idea of Gesamtkunstwerk, which means a work of art that is influenced by multiple disciplines.

They discovered that there has been an interaction between the famous French painters/sculptors Fernand Léger and Jean Arp and the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, who all experimented with the use of abstraction.

Atelier Cph’s new Object Blanc Print Collection experiments with organic abstraction and explores the layering of the colour white, by creating a collage of paper and hand painted canvas. Graphic and organic shapes are created by contrasting colours and the tone on tone whites.

All prints are printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper, are available in 2 sizes 500 x 700 mm and 400 x 300 mm and are originally signed by Atelier Cph.
