New Label to Watch: Coralie Marabelle and her April Capsule Collection

Here’s another young independent fashion brand I discovered lately: Coralie Marabelle is a French “Couture-to-wear”-label founded by Coralie Marabelle, who worked at Hermès, Alexander McQueen and Maison Margiela before starting her own brand.

Each month Coralie Marabelle comes up with a capsule collection – for the April Capsule Collection “Blue Days” she draws her inspiration from Louise Bourgeois, an artist from 20th century with whom she shares her passion for fabrics. The collection refers to the striped fabric collage and textile sculptures of Louise Bourgeois and consists of four pieces (a jumpsuit, a sweater, a crop top and large pants) that ooze summer cool.
