Travel: Casa Santa Teresa, Corsica

Lately I’ve been phantasizing over my next holiday like crazy. Not sure when we are allowed to travel again, but Casa Santa Teresa is definitely a place I’d like to visit with a group of friends. The 50s building has completely been remodeled in 2019 by Corsican talent architect Amelia Tavella. Just a few steps from the water’s edge the villa is facing the wide bay of Ajaccio, on the trendy Route des Sanguinaires.

Casa Santa Teresa has 5 bedrooms spread over 4 floors, all with large windows with wooden shutters, whitewashed walls and concrete floors, white linen and wooden furniture. The villa has a spacious living room with large fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a covered terrace from where you can enjoy the sunsets.

The heatable swimming pool on the ground floors is surrounded by stone walkways and a terrace with sunbeds and an outdoor cooking and dining area under a wooden handcrafted pergola.

Just a few steps from the water’s edge, with the peaceful sounds and scent of the sea, it’s an unforgettable place to stay. There’s a private access to a nearby quiet little beach and grocery shops in walking distance.

You get maid service twice a week, nice and luxurious!
