Copenhagen is one of my favourite cities and this apartment in Frederiksberg is definitely my new favourite place to stay. The owners, both architects, have furnished this historic apartment with an eclectic mixture of mid-century Scandinavian furniture, contemporary furniture, auction finds and pieces from owner Justine’s home in South Africa.

The apartment is best for a couple, or three travellers and a young child and offers a generous lounge, dining room and kitchen, as well as a large master bedroom with access to the balcony and a king size tempurpedic bed, and a children’s bedroom which has a cot and a single bed.

I love that it delightfully spacious and airy but cozy at the same time, due to the plywood paneling, the blue-greyish colours and natural materials.
