April First Velvet Poef Collection

When I visited Carolin Dunkel’s concept store April First on August First (true story!), I instantly fell in love with its beautiful interior, especially the candy colored velvet poefs with brass bases caught my eye. I asked Carolin where she got them from and soon we noticed that we share the same passion for interiors and ended up in a very inspiring talk. The poefs are her own design and I found out she was thinking about launching an own collection. And now, a few months later, it’s a wrap: the first collection of custom-made velvet ‘Poef’ is here!

The Poef comes in 2 sizes and 3 colors (dusty rose, mint green, emerald green). The small one (ø38cm x H 43cm) costs 599€, the big version (ø 60cm x H 39cm) costs 699€. If you are craving to have one in your home, place your order no later than November 10th, 2016 by sending an mail to HELLO@APRILFIRST.DE with your preferred size and color or order directly in store.

Every Poef is handmade by a family owned upholsterer in Poland. Each piece is unique, so small differences might occur. The high quality velvet and the brass base have a slight shimmer and vary in the movement with light. The fabric is produced by an established upholsterer in the Netherlands.
