Benedict – a New Coastal Boutique Hotel with Private Apartments in Noordwijk

Benedict Noordwijk

Perched on top of the highest dune in the coastal resort of Noordwijk is the brandnew boutique hotel Benedict with its 24 stylishly furnished private apartments.

Benedict is the brainchild of a couple who travelled the world gathering inspiration and memories from their favourite places. The hotel was named after a fictional host, whose attentive hospitality is omnipresent but largely invisible. From quality bed linen to the handmade Italian furnishings and electric vehicle charging stations –everything here feels like you’re visiting a good friend with excellent taste.

The stylish, clean interior at the Benedict was created by Paul Linse of Studio Linse, who is known for his minimalist but warm approach to design and has already transformed spaces such as the “Royal Opera House” in London or the “Rijksmuseum” in Amsterdam as well as “The Dylan Hotel”. The owners’ impressive art collection and a lovingly assembled selection of textiles and objects, such as the hand-painted crockery by Ann Demeulemeester, subtly combine the flair of the two extremely carefully modernized old villas.

Noordwijk is known for the most beautiful sunsets in the Netherlands. Noordwijk became famous as a seaside resort in the mid-19th century for its lush floral vegetation. The extensive sand dunes are the perfect place for long walks. Guests of the Benedict enjoy the unique panorama of dunes and colourful tulip fields – a combination that makes Noordwijk so fascinating.
