On my radar # 60

1.) Now who wouldn’t like to wake up in this hotel room? It belongs to La Villa Guy, an architectural and landscaped witness of the prestigious history of Béziers, a summer city with prosperous wine-making activities. It’s between 1868 and 1870 that is built this vast house of Flemish style, for a Swiss couple, on plans of the architect Léopold Carlier.

In 1916, the Guy brothers, important wine-making owners acquire this luxurious building nicknamed “the castle” by Beziers people, which will take then its definitive name of “Villa Guy”.

2.) Big love for this small French label to watch: Claie Studio from Paris! Poetic pieces, all made from hand! I fell in love with their Dune Blouse

3.) “Art with function” – that pretty sums up everything about Laura Itkonen’s Sculptural Series. The small sculptural containers are perfect to stowe awayall the bits and pieces and they look good, too. Made of porcelain and Finnish Red Earthenware, they come in light coral pink, white and terracotta.

4.) News from my favourite German interior design studio: Studio Oink! Their new Mute Magnetic Coffee Table has integrated invisible magnets for placing different trays. If you remove the trays, you can use the table as a bench as well. Made of oiled solid wood. So nice!
