Chateau de la Haute Borde, an Art and Nature Retreat in the Loire Valley

Chateau de la Haute Borde Retreat

Château de la Haute Borde is an art and nature retreat in the heart of the Loire Valley conceived as a space to meet, exchange and foster artistic creativity. Built in the early 19th century, the Château de la Haute Borde was a haven of artistic creation for a long time and is now renewing ties with its past in the arts and the hospitality industry under Parisian friends Céline Barrère and Cécile Simon. Sensitive to the arts, the owners do not consider the residence as a simple bed and breakfast, but as a residence where one would create at all costs, inspired by the elegant and calm atmosphere. In addition to the artist residences and expositions that change monthly, Château de la Haute Borde has five stylish bedrooms with rust-coloured cocciopesto floors, exposed bricks, Italian red marble bathrooms and 20th-century design pieces. Every imperfection becomes a decorative element here. Double rooms starting at €200 a night.
