Maison Dimanche – A Charming Guest House to Rent in Geneva

Located in Geneva in the heart of the Carouge district, in the former Théâtre de Carouge, the interior design office and showroom Dimanche (my favourite shop for interior design in Geneva, by the way) inaugurates a guest house – Maison Dimanche! Or rather the home of Madame K., a cultured, whimsical and above all fantastical woman who served as the model for this small town house, entirely transformed and furnished by Dimanche. Madame K., who is obviously away on a trip, has agreed to let you have the keys. Furnishings are an eclectic, colourful mix of antique and new design (with furnishings from trendy brands such as Moustache and Hem). You’ll find a spacious dining kitchen, a living room, two double bedrooms and a single bedroom (convertible into a double), as well as two bathrooms.

The Garden Room feels like a winter garden, with pale green and pink details.
The Red Room is based on the vibes of her 20s-30s in New York City.
The Nostalgic Room is inspired by her sun bathed memories of a childhood in Sicily. The single bed is convertible into a double bed on demand and a small functional simple shower/toilet is linked privately to it. A little table could help work directly in the room.
