Travel: B&B Vaste Horizon, Arles

Vaste Horizon is a small B&B tucked away in the old city of Arles, opened in 2018 by Anne and David Carpentier. The house dates back to the 18th century and is located in the district of La Roquette, in a quiet street, while being close to monuments (Musée Arles Antique, Fondation Van Gogh, Fondation LUMA, les Arènes, Saint-Trophime, etc.), shops (restaurants, cafés, galleries, bookstores, shops of all kinds, etc.) and parking lots (on the adjacent boulevard).

Vaste Horizon has 4 rooms (including an apartment with a private terrace and a room with a private entrance). The guests are also invited to rest in a lounge-gallery, a dining room for breakfast and other tastings of the day, the lounge on the first floor and, the novelty: access to the shaded courtyard.

Each of the 4 rooms is equipped with a comfortable bed, private bathroom and toilets and carefully furnished with a mixture of vintage furniture and contemporary artworks.

Vaste Horizon is both, place of rest and a place of art, where all the decor is for sale. The art objects are also exhibited in Anne’s art gallery “La Marchande des 4 saisons”, which is pretty close.

Vaste Horizon can also be rented out for private events – kitchen access included. Double rooms starting at €90/night.
